Our history
It all began in the times when kings fought for dominion, when power and strength were the main instruments of struggle, and honor and glory were granted to only a few. Our story starts with Richard, a cook who served at the court of King William III.
At that time, preparing every dish was a kind of lottery, where the highest stake was life itself. In pursuit of consistency in taste, aroma, and color, royal chefs resorted to all sorts of tricks. It was then that Richard devised a way to achieve a stable smoked flavor with minimal time and resources.
As kings came and went, Richard passed his method and knowledge on to his successors. And so, to this day, we carefully preserve this technology, constantly improving and perfecting it.
